Welcome and thank you for visiting our new website!

2012 was a year that brought many changes to the Richland Public Facilities District and its project, The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center.

The Reach has not changed its direction; it will still be a center for fun and learning while showcasing the stories of our community and providing resources for students and educators. What the Reach has done is find a new and more efficient and cost effective vehicle of getting there. Rather than one large building the Reach will be housed in a campus of several buildings. The first building, which will feature the exhibits that tell the stories of the Hanford Reach National Monument, is currently under development with a projected completion date of Spring of 2014.

To celebrate all the exciting develops planned for 2013 we have decided to move to this new website that was developed by students at Columbia Basin College. The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center will be an institution that proudly encourages and supports the phenomenal skills our youth by working with students to help us showcase their talents while helping them build the skills necessary to be the leaders of tomorrow!
