Adults may call it life skills, but kids will just call it fun! The REACH Museum’s Bus Camp will help your child get to know their way around the Tri-Cities and learn how to use public transportation. This three-day experience starts at the museum each day where campers will learn about the geography and history of the area. They will gain navigation skills and learn bus safety with the help of Ben Franklin Transit, and plan their routes to fun places.
Destinations include East Benton County History Museum and Bechtel Planetarium at Columbia Basin College.
Pick-up on Tuesday will be at Keewaydin Park in Kennewick, and on Wednesday at the Planetarium in Pasco.
REACH members: $135 per camper
Non-members $150 per camper
Campers should bring a lunch and water bottle, $1 each day for a Youth Day Bus Pass, good walking shoes, and sense of adventure.
