Screech at The REACH

Screech at the REACH is our unique tradition for the Halloween season. Since 2014, The REACH has partnered with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week in October with this fun event. Expect to find a new appreciation for the myths and truths about Halloween creatures: spiders, owls, ravens, toads, bats, and wolves…and more!

Watch this space and our social media for videos and activities during the week of October 24th through 31st.

There will also be a chance to take home a kit of crafts and learning activities for the week.

The REACH and U.S. Fish & Wildlife are excited to include many local community organizations in the fun this year!  Look for exciting stuff from Blue Mountain Wildlife, The Bug Guru, Tapteal Greenway, Blue Mountain Land Trust, The Pacific Lamprey Project, Umatilla National Forest, The Manhattan Project National Historical Park and more!
