How many groups?

A field trip group is a minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 students. The education experience is best with 2 groups at a time. Contact the Education Manager if you need to schedule a larger group.

What do we need to know about your students to make their education experience successful? Please list any medical or physical accommodations to consider, social/ behavioral or language issues, etc.

Plan Your Visit

Guided field trips include an interactive educational program, plus time to explore the museum. An educator or docent will be with your group for the entirety of your visit. Plan on 90 minutes to 2 hours for K-12, 1 hour to 90 minutes for preK.

Museum Hours: 10—4:30 Tue-Sat

Chaperones

Please bring at least 1 adult chaperone per 7 students. Each small group of students (7 or fewer) should be assigned to a particular chaperone. Color-coded nametags can help chaperones keep track of their group.

Cost

K through 12th grade Educator-led programs are $150 per group.
PreK Educator-led programs are $85 per group.

Self-guided field trips are $5 per student. (No registration form needed, just contact us to schedule.)
No charge for teachers/chaperones at a ratio of 1 per 7 students.

Funds are available to help subsidize field trips if needed. Please contact us for details before registering.

Payment is required in advance or at time of entry. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards; sorry, no purchase orders.
