Plan Your Visit

Welcome to the REACH here in Tri-Cities, Washington!

From the Ice Age floods to the Atomic Age, there is so much cultural and historical importance and impact that shaped our past, establishes our present, and will guide our future here in the Mid Columbia Basin region.

At the REACH learning center, there are many ways to explore and learn about our surrounding area. Self-guided tours through our featured galleries and rotating exhibits inside, to the amazing outdoor area with a garden of local plant species, to sculptures designed by local artists that embrace our cultural environment, and especially the amazing view of the majestic Columbia River.

If you plan for a longer visit, make sure to look at the various field tours the REACH offers, such as visiting a working excavation site of a Columbian mammoth to experiencing the craft of wine making at one of the many local vineyards located here in the Tri-City area. All tours are guided, with transportation and lunch included with the price of the tour itself.
